Averages: GCSE Maths revision
Mean is the total divided by how many. Median is the middle when ordered. Mode is the most common. Range is largest minus smallest — a measure of spread, not an average.

Mean uses every value but is pulled by outliers. Median is better for skewed data. Mode is useful for categories (favourite colour).
